Reiki 1 Workshop

The next Reiki 1 course is being held at Harding Wellbeing on February 25th/26th 2015 from 9:30 to 3:00. 

You will learn :

  • The history of Reiki
  • The Reiki Ideals and the Reiki Principles
  • About the systems of energy in and around our bodies
  • How to give a reiki treatment to yourself and others 
  • And you'll be attuned to Reiki First Degree.

This is a theoretical and experiential workshop. Although we treat Reiki with respect,.it is informal and a lot of fun. Full course notes and lunch included. The price is £175.

Thoughts for this year.

Hello and welcome to the news page of my website. My new year's intentions are to start writing more on this page. Not just about things that are happening at Harding Wellbeing but about my thoughts, aspirations and inspirations.

It's all about social interest, a concept that Alfred Adler believed is the measure of our psychological health.

Reiki sharing and refresher courses

I was thinking how much I enjoy reading, listening and talking about Reiki. And as I was finalising the date for a Reiki 1 workshop, I thought how great it would be to have Reiki sharing and Reiki refresher courses, where we can discuss any questions we have, our experiences and Reiki in general. We could learn so much from each other.  

It doesn't matter what level you have, or who your Reiki Master is, this is a chance to have a day full of Reiki. A day of the Reiki Ideals.

The Bowen Technique

Do keep an eye on my website pages, as there will soon be a new page, all about Bowen Fascial Releaase Technique.

It is a fantastic treatment, I carry out a series of very gentle rolling moves on certain parts of your fully clothed body to promote self healing and re-alignment. The moves are interspersed with 2 to 5 minute breaks. And all you have to do is lie down and relax. 

The responses to this are amazing, helping you feel better and have better posture, thereby keeping aches and pains at bay.

Mindfulness Meditation Morning.

26th April 2014. 9:30 til 12:30. Cost is £30. 

An invitation to join us for an indulgent morning of peace and joy. Learn how to connect to your wise inner self.

The practice of mindfulness is the practise of kindness to yourself. 

This will be a wonderful morning of total peace (and we'll probably have a few laughs along the way!)

New Research on Meditation

There have been articles in the media recently about the benefits of meditation.

Research has shown that meditation is proven to balance your mind and body.

It works on many levels, it has a physical effect in that it lowers blood pressure and increases serotonin. It has an effect on the mind by reducing stress and tension and gives a feeling of serenity and relaxation. It greatly helps the ‘worrier’ switch off.

When practised regularly it helps to put you things into perspective and go with the flow.

You can go it alone and learn to meditate on your own, however learning in a group or individually with a teacher, enhances your enjoyment and knowledge and enriches your experience.

Meditation time at Harding Wellbeing is a time of calm wonderment, where you can enjoy the serenity that comes with mindfulness.

The mindfulness class on Monday evenings now has places available.

This is a wonderful thing to do for yourself.

Class starts at 7:30 and take an hour. The cost is £10 per class and can be paid weekly or as a block booking for a 10% discount.

Hope to see you at a class soon.

If you can’t attend on Monday evenings, other classes are held on Friday afternoons. Classes at other times can be arranged.
